Armadale Concert Band performance

Sorry Day

Sorry Day is held annually to commemorate the history of the forcible removal of Aboriginal children and its effects on Aboriginal families and communities.
Come along on Thursday 26 May at Wellington Square, East Perth, 12.00–2.00pm for a welcome to country, smoking ceremony, music, speakers including David Wirripanda and a free sausage sizzle.

  • The Uniting Church in Western Australia has called for a change of direction by the State Government to address the ongoing problems of Aboriginal imprisonment rates and Aboriginal deaths in custody in WA, following the 20 year anniversary since the release of the report of the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody (RCIADIC).
