Uniting Church Leader Joins Muslim Friendship Group at Gallipoli Dawn Service

The Reverend Glenda Blakefield, Associate General Secretary of the Uniting Church in Australia’s National Assembly, joined a Muslim friendship group at the dawn service at Anzac Cove in Turkey. Rev Dr Emanuel Audisho, multicultural ministry consultant and Rick Morrell, First Third Team Leader, both from the Uniting Church in Western Australia, were also present at the service with thier friends from the interfaith group, the Intercultural Harmony Society. Uniting Church President: Love Thy Neighbour

President of the Uniting Church in Australia, Rev Alistair Macrae, has responded to recent publicity in the religion vs athiesm debate, including a poll held by the ABC’s Q and A program asking people if they think religious belief makes the world a better place.
