The Uniting Church in Australia offers a diverse environment for people from all walks of life.
First Third Ministry engages people of all ages into the community of the church. While the First Third technically refers to those under 30, the beauty of the First Third Ministry concept is the recognition that ministry to children, youth and families are inextricably linked with each other, and an integral part of our whole faith community.
The Uniting Church is committed to celebrating diversity, which we do through our multicultural and cross-cultural ministry. Multicultural Ministry brings together ethnically specific congregations from across the state. WA currently has Tongan, Indonesian, Korean, Afrikaans, Karen and Assyrian Arabic congregations.
The Rural Ministry Team supports people in rural areas in resourcing ministry in their local contexts.
The Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress (UAICC) is dedicated to seeking the spiritual, physical, social, mental and emotional well being of Indigenous Australians.
The Uniting Church Adult Fellowship WA Committee supports the Church’s mission of encouraging and enabling people to discover, accept and express the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
