The Resources Board was established to combine a number of previous boards and committees to provide the Uniting Church Synod of Western Australia a unified governance of Synod resources to allow for reflection on and development of optimum policies and practices for the current and future resource needs that support ministry and mission of the Synod of Western Australia. It makes recommendations to Synod and General Council regarding policy and exercises oversight, facilitates, co-ordinates and provides advice to synod in matters including (or related to) Business, Finance and Audit; Investment and Corporate Finance; property; insurance; risk management; information and communication technology; management and administration; record management; human resource management; Occupational Safety and Health; and other matters as referred to by Synod or General Council.

The Resources Board is divided up into a number of Committees. These are:

  • Business and Financial Service Committee
  • Investment and Corporate Finance Committee
  • Property Services Committee
  • Resources Governance Committee.
