The governance of the Uniting Church Western Australia happens through the Presbytery of Western Australia (WA) committees and the Synod of WA’s commissions.
The Presbytery of WA and the Synod of WA share the same geographical boundaries. They cover most of the state of WA up to Port Hedland in the north. The northern most areas of WA are part of the Northern Synod of the Uniting Church.
The Uniting Church Western Australia acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which we live and work. The Uniting Church Centre sits on the lands of the Wadjuk Nyungar people and we pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge the Nyungar people as the sovereign First Peoples of this place.
