The UCA Albany Regional Parish is situated on the beautiful South Coast of Western Australia.
We have four congregations – Albany, Lockyer, Denmark, Mount Barker, and five main buildings – the historic Scots Church (York Street), Wesley Church and the Methodist Manse (Duke Street) and the Lockyer Church and the Churches in Denmark and Mount Barker.
The Albany region has been the Boodja (Land) of the Menang people of the Noongar nation for at least 50,000 years and we acknowledge the Menang people as the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We honour the Menang elders and people past, present and emerging.
The Uniting Church Western Australia acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which we live and work. The Uniting Church Centre sits on the lands of the Wadjuk Nyungar people and we pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge the Nyungar people as the sovereign First Peoples of this place.
