Would you like to learn some new tools to study the Bible?

The Uniting Church’s Commission for Education for Discipleship and Leadership (CEDAL) will be holding a “Tools for Biblical Studies” workshop on Saturday 12 February from 9.00am to 3.00pm, at the Uniting Church Centre at 85-89 Edward Street, Perth. Anyone with an interest is welcome to attend. The cost is $20. The workshop is also available on Zoom.

You will learn about the tools used by learners of all levels to study the Bible and why they are necessary; explore  pre-conceptions that shape our interpretation; discover why a “plain reading of the Bible does not really exist; and finish by looking at what this means for how we prepare our preaching and teaching for our church communities.
