Juniper’s Pastoral and Spiritual Care Team is looking for volunteers to assist in supporting residents who live in their aged care residential homes.

If you are interested in becoming involved, Juniper invites you to apply for the next training program.  The training is aimed at providing you with a range of skills, information and experience important to supporting others in their spirituality in residential aged care.

Topics include: being an effective listener; understanding Dementia; supporting others who experience loss and grief; and end-of-life information. The volunteer role includes assisting aged residents to participate in Church services and one-on-one pastoral conversation and support.

The training will be conducted at Training Centre, Juniper Rowethorpe, 4-10 Hayman Rd, Bentley from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Friday 10 and 17 March 2023.

Another course is planned for Balcatta on Friday 5 and 12 May 2023.
