DESCRIPTION:Join us on Easter Sunday at Margaret River Uniting Church for the culmination of a 2-week Art Exhibition titled\, ‘Way of the Cross’ where 15 talented artists have each submitted an artwork depicting Jesus’ pilgrimage from Condemnation to Resurrection (Stations of the Cross). These artworks are displayed in our Church for us to contemplate the path Jesus took showing us that love wins. \nDuring this gathering\, which starts at 9.30am\, Rev Craig Bosman and Rev Don Dowling will offer Resurrection reflections on selected artworks\, fostering hopeful contemplation and contemplative hope. All are welcome.

Join one session or both. \n\n\n\nSession One — 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Understanding and Approaching Conflict \n\n\n\nConflict is a natural part of human interaction. Joan Wright Howie\, Uniting Church minister\, spiritual director\, supervisor\, and PhD candidate. Joan’s research explores what spiritually informed care looks like in practice\, and throughout this residency she brings these insights into conversation with the real experiences of church communities. \n\n\n\nBeyond the Nice Chat and Cup of Tea: Spiritually Informed Pastoral Care\n\n\n\nFriday 8 May at St Augustine Uniting Church\, Bunbury \n\n\n\nCost $25 – In person \n\n\n\nAs members of a church congregation\, we recognise the importance of pastoral care. She is currently a PhD candidate exploring the attributes of spiritually informed care and developing a model of it. Joan has a private practice and has trained both supervisors and spiritual directors for many years. She lives with her husband\, David\, in Melbourne and has three independent children. Joan loves swimming in the ocean\, gardening and going for long walks with friends.Joan is a Uniting Church minister living in Melbourne.

DESCRIPTION:The Uniting Church WA’s International Partnerships & Development Commission (IPDC) invite you to join them for Trek 4 Timor 2026 on Saturday 16 May starting at 1.00pm! \n\n\n\nTake a walk around the river to raise money for Lafaek Diak’s mobile health clinic in Timor Leste. Operating out of the back of a 4WD\, the clinic works its way around the remote villages of East Timor delivering medical aid and services\, health promotion education and care\, immunisations and clinics. \n\n\n\nStarting and ending at Saint Stephen’s Uniting Church in Applecross\, there will be two walk options for people to choose – 3.4km and 6.8km – finishing the day with afternoon refreshments at the church! \n\n\n\nYou can register to walk and fundraise or simply support this great cause with a donation.
