Prayers for Peace in a Fractured World\n\n\n\nThe Anglican Social Responsibilities Commission (SRC) will again host an ecumenical Palm Sunday Prayers for Peace gathering on Sunday 29 March. This event is supported by the Uniting Church WA Social Justice Commission alongside other ecumenical groups with speakers on the day including Rev Ken Devereux\, Chairperson of the Uniting Church Presbytery of WA. \n\n\n\nAll are welcome! SUMMARY:Maundy Thursday - Way of the Cross Service
DESCRIPTION:We will gather at Margaret River Uniting Church on Maundy Thursday to remember Jesus’ final meal with his disciples. Our gathering takes place amidst 15 artworks submitted by 15 talented artists\, each piece depicting a Station of the Cross reminding us of Jesus’ pilgrimage from Condemnation to Crucifixion and beyond (Resurrection).  \n\n\n\nWe will share a simple meal of soup and bread by candlelight\, with readings\, and then a foot washing ceremony (you may choose to have your feet or your hands washed).  \n\n\n\nThis meal is a somber and quiet reflection on Jesus’ final meal\, final command (love one another) and final act (foot washing).
