    There are currently several employment opportunities within the Centre for Wellbeing and Sustainable Practice (CWSP) of the Royal Perth Bentley Group. These positions are:

    1 x 0.4FTE Wellbeing Chaplain, Bentley Hospital:  TEMPORARY 6-month contract; Department of Health level G5.  The successful candidate will work two full days per week.  The position involves approximately 70% patient care across psychiatric, rehab and surgical services, 15% staff care and 15% involvement in CWSP and hospital activities.   We are seeking an employee who is knowledgeable and experienced in working in a psychiatric setting or with people affected by a mental illness.  While it is hoped that a permanent position is approved, a guarantee of more than a six-month contract can not be assured at this time.

    1 x 0.4FTE Wellbeing Chaplain, Royal Perth Hospital:  TEMPORARY 6-month contract: Department of Health level G5 plus on-call pay.  The successful candidate will work two full days per week on one or two clinical wards. While it is hoped that a permanent position is approved, a guarantee of more than a six-month contract can not be assured at this time.

    3 x Casual Wellbeing Chaplains, Royal Perth and Bentley Hospitals.  Successful applicants will be available for half and full-day work as needed.  At times work will be scheduled well in advance, at other times you may be invited to work with little or no notice.  Flexibility and capacity to work on a wide variety of clinical services and across two campuses are required.

    • A current copy of CV
    • Evidence of completion of at least one unit of CPE
    • A 500-750 word statement about why you are interested, the desirable qualities you believe you would bring to the job, your strengths and limitations as a member of a team and the core values which underlie your professional Spiritual Care practice.

    Additionally, there may in the future be an opportunity for a fulltime afternoon/evening Wellbeing Chaplain. Work hours would be approximately 12:30 to 8:30 pm, Mondays-Fridays.
