An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administration Assistant to join Star Street Uniting Church in Carlisle.
The role is reporting to Church Council via the Chairperson and will be working closely with the church minister, the Church Council Treasurer and external groups and businesses.
This is a permanent part-time (10 Hours per week) opportunity.
This role will be involved in the following areas (among others):
- Providing administration support to the Minister, Church Council, Working Groups and other members
- Maintaining office files and records
- Managing all meeting and property bookings
- Monitoring the condition of facilities and working with the church property team
- Arranging weekly advertising of church services and events
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two or more years’ experience in office administration, excellent communication skills, effective time management skills and the ability to pay strong attention to detail.
They must have the ability to work autonomously and with little supervision.
