The Uniting Church in Australia (W.A.) Foundation Trust was officially launched by the Uniting Church in Western Australia in December 2020, taking over from the Foundation Fund.
The Trust supports and funds:
- New church plants
- Strategic places (eg. Faith ministries) with new initiatives/developments
- Engaging in new Christian work in places in Western Australia
- Engaging in strategic new initiatives and/or developments
- Education and training for mission-focussed ministry leadership
Every day the Uniting Church through its congregations and associated community and aged care organisations provides programs and services which bring hope and joy to West Australians.
By making a donation or including a bequest to the Uniting Church in Australia (W.A.) Foundation Trust in your Will, you will be helping to shape the future of the Church and preparing it to meet the needs of the next generation.
How to donate
- By cheque – with supporting letter from donor (this will enable UCWA to acknowledge the donation and its intended purpose).
- Direct bank transfer – please send an email to CFO@wa.uca.org.au with the details of the donation and its intended purpose This will also allow UCWA to respond with banking details and acknowledge your donation.
- Other donation options – a fixed cash sum, percentage of estate, shares or property of a deceased estate willed (refer Wills & Bequests) to the Uniting Church in Australia Property Trust (W.A.) for the benefit of the Uniting Church in Australia (W.A.) Foundation Trust. The will can specify how the funds are to be used, or the funds can be used in accordance with the Foundation Trust deed.
