We are a combination of two congregations.
Our congregation at Scarborough, 121 Northstead St.
Sunday Service at Scarborough commences at 9am and there is Joy Club for children.
Uses our Scarborough church for Korean language service (Sundays 12.00am)
Yulbang is a Korean word meaning “all nations”
Our sister congregation whose worship centre is attached to the Euroka Retirement Village on the corner of Flora Tce and Margaret St, Watermans Bay.
The service at Watermans Bay commences at 10am.
After services in both churches there is morning tea.
We currently are without a Minister in Placement so our Elders, visiting Ministers and Lay Preachers lead our worship each Sunday.
During the service on the first Sunday each month, second Sunday at Watermans Bay we celebrate Holy Communion.
Scarborough Rose garden
We are proud of our rose garden which is tended by two members of our congregation. Each year the Rose Society of WA prunes the roses on the 1st Saturday in July, which is a community event and morning tea is provided. It is a good opportunity to learn the correct way to prune roses.
Thursday before Good Friday we have a Tenebrae Service at 7.30pm which is a series of readings by candlelight to hear the story leading up to Christ’s Crucifixion, Easter hymns will be sung, and during this service we will share in an Agape Feast. Agape is the Greek word for love, the kind of love shared between God and his people, which we also call a love feast, which is an early form of Communion. It is a lovely reflective service.
