Study on Grief to be held in October 2021
This is an Ecumenical event as other churches in the area take part. It has been organised by Churches Together in Stirling in past years and is continuing even though this group has now disbanded. It became an annual event with the Studies being prepared by the Rev John Meredith who was a Minister in Placement at Scarborough Uniting Church from 2000 to 2007. He is now residing back in New Zealand and we are very grateful that he still prepares the Studies for us.
World Day of Prayer Service
This is an annual event and each year a World Day of Prayer Committee in a different country prepares the service. The content of the printed service relates to the needs of the country who has prepared the service. A powerpoint of pictures and information on the country is shown in the service, with morning/afternoon tea to follow the service.
This service has been hosted by various churches in the area so is another Ecumenical event. It will be held at our Uniting Church in Scarborough next year 2022 and is always held on the first Friday in March each year.
Further details on this service will be available in the new year.
A very warm invitation is extended to you to worship with us each Sunday and/or attend any of the Activities and special services which are listed above.
COVID: We are thankful that in Western Australia we are not confined with Covid Restrictions, but we are still a Covid-safe church and all who attend Worship, Meetings, Events are required to use the Safe App on their phone or sign a sheet prepared for every event. We also ask that hand sanitiser be used when entering the building.
