DESCRIPTION:Join us on Easter Sunday at Margaret River Uniting Church for the culmination of a 2-week Art Exhibition titled\, ‘Way of the Cross’ where 15 talented artists have each submitted an artwork depicting Jesus’ pilgrimage from Condemnation to Resurrection (Stations of the Cross). These artworks are displayed in our Church for us to contemplate the path Jesus took showing us that love wins. \nDuring this gathering\, which starts at 9.30am\, Rev Craig Bosman and Rev Don Dowling will offer Resurrection reflections on selected artworks\, fostering hopeful contemplation and contemplative hope. All are welcome.

SUMMARY:Good Friday - Way of the Cross Service
DESCRIPTION:We will gather at Margaret River Uniting Church this Good Friday to walk the ‘Way of the Cross.’  \n\n\n\nOur gathering will take place in the midst of 15 artworks submitted by 15 talented artists\, each piece depicting a Station of the Cross reminding us of Jesus’ pilgrimage from Condemnation to Crucifixion and beyond (Resurrection). A small representative group will move from Station to Station as Scripture is read\, songs are sung\, Artist’s words are read\, and contemplative reflections are made.  \n\n\n\nThis service is an embodied Easter pilgrimage with Jesus of Nazareth\, spiritually encountering each poignant moment on his day of crucifixion\, fostering hopeful contemplation and contemplative hope in a world that needs it.

DESCRIPTION:We will gather at Margaret River Uniting Church on Maundy Thursday to remember Jesus’ final meal with his disciples. Our gathering takes place amidst 15 artworks submitted by 15 talented artists\, each piece depicting a Station of the Cross reminding us of Jesus’ pilgrimage from Condemnation to Crucifixion and beyond (Resurrection).  \n\n\n\nWe will share a simple meal of soup and bread by candlelight\, with readings\, and then a foot washing ceremony (you may choose to have your feet or your hands washed).  \n\n\n\nThis meal is a somber and quiet reflection on Jesus’ final meal\, final command (love one another) and final act (foot washing).

DESCRIPTION:All are welcome to Margaret River Uniting Church on Sunday 14 December for our Peace Pole Ceremony at 11.30am (no 9:30 service).  \n\n\n\nThis is an ecumenical community event which will include a labyrinth walk and a bring and share lunch afterwards.
