Prayer Points for week commencing 15 March 2020
Sunday: That your thirst for abundant life will be quenched by the living water that Jesus Christ offers you today and everyday. (John 4: 13-14)
Monday: Give thanks for the medical and financial support being offered by the Federal and State governments (in response to the coronavirus) to a very broad cross section of the Australian community. Pray for a positive outcome.
Tuesday: The elders of our congregations who meet this evening. Pray for Holy Spirit leading. Pray also for the many people, (especially the Irish) who will be celebrating St Patrick’s Day today.
Wednesday: Christian members of parliament; that they might take the opportunities presented to them to share their faith and the Good News with those with whom they work.
Thursday: Your local doctors, hospital and medical centre staff who offer us front line advice and treatment for our various ailments. Pray that they might be protected from the present outbreak of coronavirus.
Friday: Migrants and refugees around the world as so many of them continue to experience violence, rejection, abuse and death as they seek the ability to live and provide for their families.
Saturday: The Presbytery of WA as it meets today at the Kalamunda UC. Pray for the Chairperson, Bob Hunt and all who work to make the meeting possible. Pray that all the discussions and decisions bring honour and glory to God
