There is a Retired Ministers gathering on Wednesday 31 May from 10.30am at Maylands-Mt Lawley Uniting Church. Please note the change of date – it is now on Wednesday, not Tuesday. The speaker will be Dr Peter Prout, Author, Teacher and Mentor.

About Dr Peter Prout

Peter’s academic career in Australia included High School teaching and leadership, teacher education and research at Edith Cowan University, leading para-church outreach among families, children and youth, and leading teaching and mentoring services into East African countries. He also taught in Canadian universities and was employed on contract for twelve months at the Community Education and Development Centre at Western Michigan University, USA. His published work is focused upon community, mentors and mentoring, and the positive role of elders in communities.
