The Uniting Centre for Education and Formation invite Lay Preachers to a Peer Supervision Information Session on Saturday 17 May from 9.00am to 12.00pm. The event will take place at South Perth Uniting Church, as well as being available online.
Lay Preachers who are preaching regularly are expected to be in a supervision relationship. This can be a difficult requirement to fulfil when for many this is ministry that does not always have financial reward. Peer supervision is a possible solution that also builds collegiality.
During this gathering, we will explore what Peer Supervision is, how it might work for groups of lay preachers and begin a process for those who may find the format useful.
