We will gather at Margaret River Uniting Church on Maundy Thursday to remember Jesus’ final meal with his disciples. Our gathering takes place amidst 15 artworks submitted by 15 talented artists, each piece depicting a Station of the Cross reminding us of Jesus’ pilgrimage from Condemnation to Crucifixion and beyond (Resurrection).
We will share a simple meal of soup and bread by candlelight, with readings, and then a foot washing ceremony (you may choose to have your feet or your hands washed).
This meal is a somber and quiet reflection on Jesus’ final meal, final command (love one another) and final act (foot washing).
