We will gather at Margaret River Uniting Church this Good Friday to walk the ‘Way of the Cross.’
Our gathering will take place in the midst of 15 artworks submitted by 15 talented artists, each piece depicting a Station of the Cross reminding us of Jesus’ pilgrimage from Condemnation to Crucifixion and beyond (Resurrection). A small representative group will move from Station to Station as Scripture is read, songs are sung, Artist’s words are read, and contemplative reflections are made.
This service is an embodied Easter pilgrimage with Jesus of Nazareth, spiritually encountering each poignant moment on his day of crucifixion, fostering hopeful contemplation and contemplative hope in a world that needs it.
