August 25 @ 9:30 am 12:00 pm

As part of the Annual Ethical Ministry Workshop for 2026, two sessions will be held at St Aidan’s Uniting Church in Claremont on Wednesday 25 August.
The morning session, 9.30am to 12.00pm, is the mandatory Ethical Ministry Workshop, which all Ministers and Pastors (including retired Ministers and Pastors who remain active in ministry) are required to complete.

The afternoon session, 1.00pm to 3.00pm, is a separate, optional professional development workshop on Responding to Domestic and Family Violence in Ministry, for those who wish to deepen their understanding of this important area of ministry.

Ethical Ministry Workshop
25 August, 9.30am to 12.00pm

This year’s Ethical Ministry Workshop focuses on Teaching and Competence, drawing on the Code of Ethics, Sections 3.3 (Teaching) and 3.4 (Competence). Through discussion and reflection, we will explore what faithful and competent ministry practice looks like in these areas.

Morning tea and light refreshments will be provided.
