The next Formation for All workshop will be on Saturday, 8 June 2024 from 9:30am to 1:00pm at Leeming Uniting Church, 66 Farrington Road, Leeming, and online. The theme is “Towards a Culture of Discipleship Making” which will be presented by Rob Douglas, Presbytery Minister: Mission.
Join us for a workshop dedicated to enriching your faith journey and deepening your understanding of discipleship.
In the morning session, titled “Towards a Culture of Discipleship Making,” we’ll tackle one of the biggest challenges facing our churches today: discipleship. Led by Rev Rob Douglas, we’ll delve into practical insights drawn from Luke 9 and 10, exploring unique tools for disciple-making that can be tailored to your church’s context and readily implemented.
Lay Preacher’s Gathering – 1.00pm to 3.00pm
Following the morning session, we invite all Lay preachers in the Uniting Church in Western Australia to join us for an afternoon gathering. This two-hour event, starting at 1:00 pm, offers a platform for accredited lay preachers, those in training, and volunteers leading worship in their congregations to connect and learn from one another. Whether attending in person or online, you’ll have the opportunity to network, share insights on worship preparation, discover available training resources, and discuss future continuing education opportunities.
