All are welcome to Margaret River Uniting Church on Sunday 14 December for our Peace Pole Ceremony at 11.30am (no 9:30 service).
This is an ecumenical community event which will include a labyrinth walk and a bring and share lunch afterwards. During the ceremony we will be unveiling our new Peace Pole along with Lama Sonam from Tig-Le House (collaborating on the project), Transition Margaret River (who initiated the project), and Rotary Margaret River (who sponsored thew project).
Several other community groups will be present and will bring short messages of peace, including our Shire President.
At Margaret River Uniting Church our whole Christmas theme will revolve around the message of Peace, highlighting our new Peace Pole which is a symbol of our commitment to Peace.
